Hey cowgirls welcome to our new website! Thanks Ed it looks great.  We will endeavor to keep it updated on the regs with useful information and magical tunes.

We have had/have a bunch on so I thought I would start this blog by wrapping it all into a little pressie and unwrapping it all out below. Posts from here on will most likely be more direct.

To start things off we had the release of SMILE’s sophomore LP Rhythm Method. Had a great response with favourable reviews from Stereogum, Rolling Stone, DIY and Richard Kingsmill. SMILE also got in the feature records on PBS – 106.7 and the AIR feature artist of the week. The boys played a live to air on PBS and sold out the Gasometer Hotel with a great launch party. Next up they are playing a free show with local legends Free Time and Scott and Charlene’s Wedding at the Rollas Service Store May 6th.  Bands from around 7pm I believe.  You can listen to Free Times excellent new record ‘Searching for Free Time” over the the excellent Bedroom Suck Records.

Oh SMILE also played at the wonderful Boogie Festival with legends such as Terrible Truths, Terry, Power, and Endless Boogie.

Buy the LP over on the Smooch Bandcamp.

Also watch the Holiday clip if you haven’t seen it/in a while it’s great!

OCDANTAR just released his latest single via Clash Magazine titled Sad Child. Head over there and give it’s dreaminess a hoon. He also released this excellent video by legend Max Turner for Sea Sky Client View which is as groovy as it is terrifying.

His EP Time In Fluxcomes out next week (26/4/16) and OCDANTAR are throwing a party May 7th at the Gasometer with Queen Magic,  Alta and Couture. OCDANTAR is also performing at Howler Melbourne this Saturday (23/4/16) in support of LUCIANBLOMKAMP and LOWER SPECTRUM.

Mouth Tooth records are in our hands, picked them up from the pressers this week.  That one comes out in June which is a real treat for all of you. They have made an excellent video for the excellent single Memory Foam which again you are going to have to wait a few weeks for. Trust me when I say though it’s a hit. For now listen back to Group Therapy here – (insert group therapy embed)

Great stuff! We also have the Liahona debut EP dropping soon, Rat & Co are putting the final touches on album 3 and 4, and there is a good chance we are gonna be announcing our first international signing over the next couple weeks. We have sold out of T shirts but will get some more made soon.

Thanks for stopping in please come back often. Watch Horace and Pete’s if you are looking for a series and be nice to your lover.
